The reference for the train station
The Fort Ward Train Station is a train station serving the town of Fort Ward. It is located outside of Fort Ward, and is accessible by an access road, with a gravel parking lot at the end. The tracks themselves are dug into the ground and require stairs to get to the platforms. A covered footbridge in modern design is in place over the tracks to get people to the other platform. The train station is serviced by "Amrail", as seen on the signs.
On the other side of the parking lot, across from platform is a Nazi German BR80 steam engine with a plaque, stating that it was captured during an American bombing raid over Dresden.
